Back Bay Shutter
Three Variations for Motorized
CONRAD provides one of our favorite weaves: Weave No. 1722, Shimmer, to a private Massachusetts residence. Handwoven with touches of stainless steel threads, the overall effect is that light “shimmers” from the soft window coverings in handwoven drapery, handwoven Roman shades and handwoven roll-up shades. Expertly installed, with motorized capabilities by Back Bay Shutter, drapes open and close, shades go up and down, at the touch of a button.

Designer Susan Reddick and architect Ivan Bereznicki have partnered with our friends at Back Bay Shutter to create an extraordinary garden pavilion in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
When it came to treating the pavilion's windows, Ms. Reddick sought “something subtle and soft...which could also be hidden in pockets when not in use”. Selecting CONRAD motorized shades, the designer drew on Back Bay Shutter's extensive experience and expertise to use CONRAD's custom handwoven shades to control and distribute light within the space.
Both Back Bay Shutter and CONRAD were proud to hear Ms. Reddick report that “the clients are thrilled with the end result”. We think you will be too. Click on the video link below to see this wonderful project in action.
