Terra Lucida

Where light touches fiber, the earth begins to glow.

Inspired by the luminosity of earth itself, Terra Lucida reimagines heritage fibers in a palette of soft stone, sand, and ivory — hues that echo the language of landscape and light. Arrowroot in a new hue and repurposed ramie are handwoven into layered textures and open transparencies, creating shades that honor nature’s grounding presence while reflecting light with quiet brilliance. Each weave captures the tension between weight and air — structure and illumination — revealing the artistry born when earth and light find harmony.

Grounded in craft. Defined by light.

DRIFTVEIL, Weave No. 2349
Light drifts through strands of abaca and ramie, woven with an intricate interplay of structure and spacing, dissolving boundaries between fiber and air. A veil of calm that softens shadow and reveals stillness.

SANDRIFT, Weave No. 2351
Fibers of abaca, silk, and arrowroot move in flowing sequence, echoing the contours of wind-shaped dunes and sunlit terrain. Layers of tone and texture hold a quiet sense of motion within stillness.

DAWNSTONE, Weave No. 2353
Composed of pure arrowroot, its smooth surface holds the tranquil sheen of early light on stone. Serene, centered, and luminous in its simplicity.

PALE HORIZON, Weave No. 2355
Triangles of arrowroot are placed by hand through a floating weft process, creating a subtle geometry that mirrors distant hills beneath the morning sun. Abaca threads lend quiet strength, while the arrowroot reflects the soft radiance of dawn.

LUMEN CLAY, Weave No. 2357
Arrowroot and silk interlace to create a gentle luminosity — light rising from within, warming the weave with a reflective glow. A study in balance between shadow and shine.

SHADOWLINE, Weave No. 2359
A jacquard weave of abaca and palm reveals a refined pattern of light and structure. Its depth and tonal contrast give a measured calm to the surface — an interplay of density and reflection.

ASHEN GLOW, Weave No. 2361
Illumined by natural light, this soft, touchable weave reveals a curvilinear warp pattern on a ground of ramie fibers in a creamy ivory hue.

IVORY SHARD, Weave No. 2363
Repurposed ramie and strands of abaca interweave to create a sculptural, tactile weave with organic irregularities that catch the light like carved stone. Beauty revealed in renewal and imperfection.
