CORNER & BAY WINDOWS

CONRAD shades are ideal for corner and bay windows. Shades may be ordered with straight-cut or mitered headerboards. Optional front operation is available to bring shade closer to the glass and minimize gaps. Roman shades stack front and back when raised and will overlap in corners. Hand-fluffing shades as they are raised is recommended to help straighten folds.

STRAIGHT-CUT HEADERBOARD

CONRAD shades on straight-cut headerboards are available for corner or bay windows.

MITERED HEADERBOARD

Mitered headerboards are often specified for corner or bay windows when a more finished look from the exterior is desired. For glass-to-glass corner and bay window installations, we recommend mitered headerboards with front operation.

We recommend a Freestanding Valance, front and/or reverse, to help conceal operating mechanisms (control loops, motors, roller shades, etc.) from the interior or exterior view, unless shades are installed in recessed pockets or behind cornices.
